Mr. Mallikarjun Chandrappa

Mr Chandrappa obtained his primary medical qualification (MBBS) from Mysore Medical College, India in 2002 and orthopaedic surgical training in PGIMER (Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research), a reputed teaching hospital in Chandigarh, India in 2006. He underwent spinal fellowship training at Apollo Hospitals Chennai, India from 2008 to 2010. He obtained FRCS (Trauma & Orthopaedics) in 2013.

He undertook fellowships in Spinal Surgery at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children, Edinburgh, James Cook University Hospital, Great Ormond Street Hospital and University Hospital for Wales, Cardiff. He was appointed as consultant spine surgeon in Trauma and Orthopaedics at RVI, Newcastle from May 2020.
